This song came out of a tough time trying to understand what God was doing in my life. As I struggled to start a new life abroad, leaving behind loved ones at home, I questioned God’s love for me as I could not understand his plans amidst the many difficult moments. In my desperation, I clung on to what I knew and wrote this simple song, even when I could not feel the truth- that God did truly love me and would, in His time, make all things beautiful. While praying before leaving for my second semester of study, the chorus of this song came into my head and God touched my heart and made His presence so known, such that I knew He would walk with me through it all, even when it was difficult. Praise our awesome, loving Father!
