‘Finding You’ in itself is really just me searching for God, searching really hard for Him who will fill the gaps in my life. It’s one of my personal favourites because it means a lot to me. Each line is really my struggle or a belief I place in Him.

It’s a process of setting out to find Him, realising that many of us are tired and sick of trying so hard, and of being someone we’re not. It’s a process of seeking someone who would understand us through and through and heal us from all the times we’ve been disappointed or hurt. It’s a process of finding Jesus who will allow us to die inside to truly live. At the end of the song, we acknowledge He’s the one who will capture our hearts and blow us away again, and that as He breaks us, there’s no more lies, no more disguises, but truth.
